5 Ways to Boost Your Energy in Less Than 10 Minutes!
Sunshine - Ideally spend a few minutes in nature each day. If that is not possible, at least open your curtains and get an energizing boost of natural vitamin D!
Move - This is the #1 way to boost your energy naturally!
Go for a brisk 10 minute walk to pump oxygen rich, energizing blood throughout your body to give you an instant energy boost! Ask a friend, co-worker, your partner or furry friend to join you.
Dance & sing out loud - moving and singing reduces stress hormones and boosts energizing feel good hormones. Turn up your favorite songs and let
loose!
Nourish - Snack on healthy fats. A few of my favorite healthy fats are organic raw nuts, olives, avocado drizzled with olive oil, an apple and nut butter or celery and hummus.
Healthy fats fuel your brain and give you an energy boost.
Hydrate - Have a 12-16 ounce glass of water. Add in some fresh
organic lemons or berries for a refreshing infusion.
Dehydration can make you feel drained & exhausted.
Breathe - Is something bothering you?
Do you have control of it? If so, doing something about it, even brainstorming a plan will aid with reducing the associated stress that is draining your energy.
Is it out of your control? If so, then LET IT GO! It seems so difficult and so easy at the same time. Simply letting go of things you cannot control releases the stress and anxiety surrounding the situation which is zapping your energy levels. Take a few deep breaths and visualize the situation disappearing before you.
